We are delighted to be able to work with many schools in our community.
St. Stephen’s works with the Broughton High School to provide assemblies explaining the Christian faith and other faith, and wellbeing related support.
Our Youth Pastor, Kenny, is mostly involved with the SU Group, and through him, together with other local Christians and churches, we are supporting the work of Scripture Union at the local schools.
Scripture Union groups provide an opportunity for children to explore the Bible and investigate the Christian faith through fun activities and discussion. These activities generally involve food, games and stories from the Bible
Members of St.Stephen’s are currently involved in a number of SU groups:
• Stockbridge Primary. Meet in Stockbridge Parish Church, Mondays after school
• Flora Stevenson’s Primary – Tuesdays after school
• Broughton High School- Wednesday lunchtime in music room 3
• Edinburgh Academy Junior School – Quest Club, Friday at 1pm
• Edinburgh Academy Senior school – Quest Club, Thursday at 12.50pm
• Stewarts Melville Junior School
